Terms of Service

The service

Garage Saga is a digital service book: you record maintenance with photos and invoices, share the history with a revocable link, and transfer it to the new owner when the vehicle is sold.

Your account

You must be at least 18, provide accurate information and keep your credentials to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Price

The service is currently free of charge. Paid options may be introduced later; if a feature you use becomes paid, it will be announced clearly beforehand, and nothing will ever be charged silently.

Your content

What you upload remains yours. You grant Garage Saga the technical permission needed to store it and to show it to the people you choose (a share link, a buyer after a transfer). You must have the right to upload what you upload.

The value of a Garage Saga history is its honesty. Entries and documents that are deliberately false may lead to the closure of the account.

The history cannot be rewritten

You have 24 hours to correct or delete an entry you have just recorded. After that it is sealed by design: corrections are added as new, visible entries linked to the original. Do not record what you would not want a future buyer to read.

Transfers are permanent

Completing a transfer hands the vehicle and its whole history to the other account, permanently. The service cannot undo it. Generate the code only for the person who actually bought the vehicle.

Acceptable use

No unlawful content, no data about other people you have no right to publish, no attempts to abuse quotas, probe the systems or misuse other users' links and codes.

Availability and care

The service is run with professional care: encrypted weekly backups, monitoring, and a database that enforces the history's integrity. It is nonetheless provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. An export of all your data is available in your profile at any time, and using it is encouraged.

Liability

To the extent French law allows, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service, which today is zero. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Garage Saga can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where practicable.

Law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of your country of residence remain yours.
